Professional Organizing in Maryland

Hands-on Professional Organizing, decluttering, and concierge moving services for busy families across six Maryland counties: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Prince George’s, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot.

A Local Team, a Wider Reach

Susie started Systems by Susie out of her Annapolis home back in 2014. Every job was within a short drive, and most clients found her through word of mouth.

More than a decade later, our Professional Organizing team has grown, and we work with families all over central Maryland and the Eastern Shore. We’re still local. That part hasn’t changed. What’s changed is how far “local” reaches.

Today, we serve six counties. Some clients book us for a single closet. Others bring us in for the full concierge move experience: pre-move purge, packing, unpacking, and a fully styled pantry on day one. And the families who want ongoing support join our membership for quarterly visits that keep their systems running long after we leave.

One thing worth mentioning: Susie’s a former military spouse. That part of her story shows up in the work. We know how it feels to land in a new house with twenty boxes still taped shut on a Tuesday morning when school starts Wednesday. That’s the family we built this business for.

Our Service Areas

We’ve created a dedicated page for each county we serve, with the communities we work in, donation resources we trust, and the kinds of projects our team handles in that area. Pick your county to learn more.

Our Services

The services are the same across all six counties. What changes is the context: the size of the home, the season of life, the kind of move. Here’s what families typically hire us for.

Common Questions About Our Service Areas

We work within roughly an hour’s drive of our home base in zip code 21409. Most of our six-county service area falls inside that radius. For locations beyond a 30-mile radius, a modest travel fee may apply, and we’ll talk through that during your consultation so there are no surprises.

Just pick the county where the home is, or if you’re in the middle of a move, choose the county you’re moving to. We’ll handle both ends of the move from there. If you’re truly between two counties or unsure, the consultation is the easiest way to figure out where to start.

We occasionally take projects outside of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Prince George’s, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot Counties in surrounding parts of central Maryland and the Eastern Shore on a case-by-case basis. If your home is close to one of our service counties, reach out and we’ll let you know. The further outside our regular service area you are, the more likely a travel fee will apply. We also have a large, nationwide referral network, and can probably help you find a professional organizer in your area.

It depends on the season. Spring and late summer (the moving and back-to-school window) book up first, and we typically recommend reaching out three to four weeks ahead. For smaller projects or membership visits, we can often work within a couple of weeks. The fastest way to lock in a date is to book a consultation.
