Spring Cleaning Checklist
Happy spring, friends! If you are like me, you are more than READY for warmer weather and the chance to do some spring cleaning after a long winter. I tend to hibernate in the winter, but as soon as the sun is out again, I get the bug to tidy and refresh the house!
In this blog, I’ve got a downloadable Spring Cleaning Checklist to keep you on track as you work your way through your home for seven days. We’ll purge, organize, and set up systems to keep things in check for the season ahead. So grab your donation bags, roll up your sleeves, and let’s get ready to make our homes shine bright this spring!
Download the Printable
It’s a simple checklist, with seven themes (one for each day of the week) broken down by area. Each day has three simple tasks to do. (If you really want to take things slow, you can spread this out for three weeks and do one checklist item per day, rotating categories. Do what works best with the time you have to spare each day!)
Once you’ve downloaded, printed, and read through the checklist, take a peek at the resources and reminders I’ve included below to help you on your journey.

Resources and Reminders
- When buying containment, remember to edit (purge) first, then measure before you shop.
- Schedule your to-dos on your calendar (like dropping off donations), so you don’t forget to do it.
- Clean as you go – for example, dust your dressers and nightstands once you’ve emptied them.
- Laminate checklists (like the one for the bathroom) so they can be reused and last longer. Keep a dry erase marker in the caddy, too.
- Download the app “SuperCook” to help you find recipes for ingredients you need to use up.
- Here are a few products you might find helpful when completing the checklist:
- Trunk Organizer
- Photo Organizers (for center console)
- Multipurpose Bins (for under the sink)
- My Favorite Label Maker
- Drawer Organizers (for the bathroom and your nightstand)
- A great catch-all basket
- Bathroom Caddy
- Blogs to read for additional tips & tricks:
- Organizing Important Papers
- Building a Cleaning Caddy
- Setting Up a Hand-me-Down System
- Setting Up a Drop Zone
- Spring Scavenger Hunt (In case you are feeling inspired to declutter a little more!)
- Remember to make it fun and involve the whole family!
