Meet Susie

Every step of my career, from wedding coordinator to event planner to teacher, let me do what I love most: organize everyone and everything! From as long as I can remember, I’ve always thrived on to-do lists, planners, and systems. Once my husband retired from the Navy and we settled in Annapolis, I discovered the world of professional organizing and never looked back.

In 2014, I founded Systems by Susie with one goal: lightening the load for busy families so they could spend more time doing what they love. Today, I lead an incredible team that helps clients go from overwhelmed to organized. We don’t just make spaces look pretty. We declutter, create systems that last, and help you get your time (and weekends) back. We do it all with kindness, empathy, and zero judgment.

  • Brooke

    Brooke, our Director of Operations, has been with Susie since 2018 and oversees all company operations, including consultations and project management. With a background in interior design and experience as a mom of three, she creates beautiful, sustainable systems for our clients. Known for her quick thinking and leadership, Brooke finds the most rewarding part of her work in the happiness and relief clients feel after a space transformation.

  • Katie

    A native Texan, Katie is a Project Manager with a big heart who goes above and beyond to make sure every job is done well. She’s the mom of four busy kids so she understands how crazy life can get and loves to help create sanity in the midst of chaos. She’s been an integral part of Systems by Susie since 2018 and still gets excited about organizing kitchens, coordinating moves, and welds a mean labeler.

  • Crissy

    Crissy manages both our projects and product design. As Product Design Manager, she meets with clients during consultations and designs and sources all of the products used on our jobs. As Project Manager, she has lead our team in transforming clients’ spaces since 2021. Married and a mom of two, Crissy loves fitness, fashion, and cooking. Her favorite space to organize is the kitchen, and when she’s not organizing, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

  • Christi

    Project Manager Christi is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland. She met Susie while their Navy husbands were in flight school, and after moving together from San Diego to Annapolis, she joined the team in 2018. She has four children born so close together that life with a constantly deployed husband made organization not just a luxury but a necessity. Known on the team as the Energizer Bunny, Christi brings unmatched energy and works tirelessly to support and serve our clients.

  • Sarah

    Originally from Wisconsin, Project Manager Sarah brings a calm, steady presence to every project. With a background in interior design, she organizes with both style and functionality in mind. Known for her great laugh, she has been with Systems by Susie team since 2019. A mom of three, Sarah enjoys renovating homes with her husband and specializes in transforming cluttered closets into functional, beautiful spaces

  • Wendy

    Organizer Wendy is from Annapolis, Maryland, and is an empty nester to three wonderful kids. With a love for fashion and a background in retail displays, she has a magical touch on closets. Wendy enjoys sharing her fashion and organizing tips and brings a background in event and wedding planning. She also loves entertaining and decorating for the holidays, and has been an invaluable part of the team since 2020.

  • Lindsay

    Lindsay is our Inventory Coordinator and Organizer and has been a valued member of the team since 2021. She manages all our inventory and takes daily trips to The Container Store, ensuring our team has everything needed to seamlessly transform client spaces. Lindsay lives in Arnold with her husband and two daughters. With a background in Exercise Science and Massage Therapy, Lindsay brings a unique blend of science, systems, and creativity to the team.

  • Alex

    Organizer Alex lives in Severna Park with her husband, two sons and her pup, Penny. Her family just recently moved back to her native Maryland, after moving six times in 20 years. She is thrilled to be back in the land of Old Bay and the Ravens! She thrives on learning new organizational tricks of the trade and lives by the motto “everything has a home!”In her free time, Alex loves to play Mahjong, indulge in any type of exercise (especially yoga!), travel and cook.

  • Katie

    Katie Grey is our Director of Client Services. She manages backend systems, provides client support, and keeps everything running seamlessly. Originally from Kansas City, she has called the Annapolis area home for over 16 years. Katie and her husband have two daughters in middle school who keep them very busy. She enjoys reading, swimming, running, keeping her family organized and bringing joy to all clients!

  • Tiarra

    Organizer Tiarra moved to Annapolis in 2023 after getting married. Positive, hardworking and kind, she’s a wonderful addition to the team. Bring an organized person her entire life, she’s thrilled to have found her perfect fit in this role. Her favorite space to organize is the kitchen—because nothing beats coming home to a clean, organized space with no dishes in the sink.

We don’t just clean up and organize an area. We create individualized systems that are intuitive, sustainable, and that work with (and not against) your natural habits.

WE DON’T JUDGE

We are a judgment-free zone. We don’t judge because we. get. it. Our homes aren’t perfect. We have real families who make real messes, too. Our goal isn’t perfection, but rather setting up systems you can maintain and giving everything a specific place.

WE LOVE OUR JOBS

We are super friendly. Organizing can be fun with the right people! We love chatting as we work and are often sharing our favorite resources, podcasts, and tips on business and parenting. Transforming spaces for our clients is what we LOVE to do.

WE WANT IT TO LAST

We can train and teach your employees or the “helpers” in your home how to maintain the systems we create. We also have monthly and quarterly maintenance plans to refresh and reset your spaces.
